So I might figure out more if I stare at it. I did find this post,, which gives me some thinking material but it doesn't give the format required. Anyone have a real easyweather.dat file, real data or dummy, that I can look at to see how Cumulus expects to see the data? Possible, very doable, BUT - I don't know the format of an easyweather.dat file in order to create the correct fields from the. Why not convert, on the fly, the contents of the database into easyweather.dat for cumulus to read. Having worked with Access databases many years and designed some pretty radical ways to observe, share, and edit data a little light has turned on. Snooping around I see that WeatherSmart uses an Access database to store what it is downloading. I can send lots more details if it would be helpful for me to provide.OK, I'm still mad about the ProWeatherStation TP2700WC not being compatible (and wrote them a rather sharp comment about it) Since I tend to scheme when I'm unhappy I have been exploring how the TP2700WC and WeatherSmart works (WeatherSmart seems to be a proprietary version of EasyWeather) It can export to CSV which is well and good, but it means that someone would need to make it into an easyweather.dat. I am running Vista 64, but this seems to work ok when I use the Easyweather.dat method of data collection (within the limiations of this method as outlined in another post). This matches what WD gives me (ie if I stop WD and run the tool, I generally get a consistent result of either correct, or incorrect). And sometimes it does not as outlined above. I don't know what is supposed to be there, but sometimes the bottom bit mostly matches the weather station (temp, unadjusted barometer, wind speed and direction, but not total rainfall). only collects data while WD running and does not collect historical data when WD restarts. rain is jumping up by 38mm periodically when there is no rain When it changes, it is usually a few degrees hotter or colder, and you see a jump in the graphs (values do not match values on weather station). Every hour or so it seems to change between working and not. sometimes reads temps and humidity correctly and sometimes it does not. Unfortunately, the new version of Weather Display directly supporting wh-1081 (wh-1080), is not working correctly for me. Sorry.ignore previous half finished post. these jumps in values seem to happen at semi regular intervals (maybe about hourly). I think 1 of the values might be this unadjusted value. In easyweather you can set an offset to correct for local location. barometer has the same jumps, but always seems to be incorrect. When it changes, it is usually a few degrees hotter or colder, and you see a jump in the graphs.
